Those "christians" truly aren't christians if they don't believe that Jesus is alive. That is a big part of what christianity is all about. I believe Jesus led as normal a life as possible. Did He get married, I don't know. About Satan not liking people, I think some where the bible says that he is out to steal, kill, & destroy. Picking & choosing verses from the bible?!? Do you know how many verses or pages are in a bible?!?

I know what a CHRISTian attitude is because my mother is a CHRISTian, as is my beloved baby sister...they follow the teachings of CHRIST, and model their lives after his beliefs, teachings, and message (not CHIRST...gah...you cannot even spell what you profess to believe). I know what christian beliefs and teachings are because I took the time and effort to damn well learn them. Christian beliefs and practices may be many and varied, but they all have a core structure in Christ.

As for your childhood...it sucked, get therapy, move on, better your life. Stop making excuses, and learn to be a coherent, functional human being. You being surrounded by druggies has naught to do with you acting like a jackass here and now...or are you one of the rare humans/christians not given free will? I lived in shithole Sierra Vista AZ, and was surrounded by criminals, liars, cheats, thieves, alcoholics and druggies, and you don't see me whining about it. I'm sure that you're not the only person exposed to shittiness as a child, and I'm pretty sure Kentucky doesn't have the sole market on shitty situations.

As for pages in the bible-or how many verses? What the fuck does that have to do with the price of apples?? I merely said that your faith is surely comprised of more than just quotations of the bible. Hmm-maybe I am wrong. Maybe that's all it is.
There are many different sects to Chrisitanity-and ALL of them follow a different set of beliefs. Pentacostle, Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, etc. I feel sorry for you-must be so terribly confusing.
