Personally, I think it is very wrong of the church. I believe the bible says, "baptize people".....etc. It doesn't say, "force people to become members of churches." Is there a reason why she doesn't want to become a member? At the church I got baptized at, they don't require church membership, but rather make it an option.

Becoming a member/joining a chruch is 2 different things from following Christ.

Eros, I didn't mention any other religions or Xian denominations because the conversation at that point was revolving around Catholicism. I chose to emphasize the word "ignore" for reasons due to my personal experience.
The two word inquisitive statement, "Just Catholics?" is not a complete sentence. Frankly, as it stands, it's more an inquisitive accusation than a question. The proper way to ask someone for clarification would be to use phrasing such as: "Did you mean just Catholics, krazykatlady?" Do you not see the difference in language?

 Interpret it as you wish. In *reply* to your post, no, it was not an incomplete sentence. No more incomplete than it would be irl conversation *in reply* to your comment/s. Had I started a thread stating *just* that question *or* replied w/o including your comment, then yes, "Just Catholics?" would make no sense. But if it makes you feel better to nitpick, okay *shrug*. silly
