Is it so bloody difficult to make a wee li'l note when sending payment what the payment is for?! Nothing like getting Paypal payments with NO mention what this $$$ is for ATOP rec'v $$$ through the mail that reads "here is $5 for my win".
Ya know, I sell on Several sites- I mail anywhere from 40-90 Packages a week. I simply HAVE NO WAY of knowing what payment is for without a note & I ask (I think rather KINDLY) in every Email to PLEASE (I use BOLD BIG LETTERS SUCH AS THIS WHEN I ASK) to Pleeeease make mention of what the item is or what website even & here I have as of right now SEVERAL payments Im trying to figure out! Ive Emailed all people and only 3 have responded so for the Gothettes who have paid me for item(s) on here with NO mention...your items will simply be delayed I dont mean to come off rude & I am in NO way trying to be a B**ch but gee whiz! Its fustrating!!! It literally takes less than 5 seconds to type GOTH AUCTIONS/ RED TSHIRT- User "So & So" and thats it!
So in close, please please please do Sellers a favor & just make it easier on them by leaving a note or mentioning what the item is! UGH, Fustrated Beyond words

I always state who I am and what I am paying for. It was one of those assumed common sense things.

I do understand accidents happen, like for the longest time paypal wouldn't include my address and I had to put it in the memo thing.
And I still can't get it to switch my email...and all that stuff I need to look into. @___@ It also STILL puts my old address, even after I changed it.

However, it's always good practice to include that info.

It's kind of nice not selling as much as I used to. I read posts like this and am reminded of the constant headaches. lol!!!

agreed!! i had the same thing happen 4 times this week already! aggravating! and as a buyer, it's so sad when other sellers on here THANK me for including the info..i can't believe so many people don't! sheesh! o.O

As a buyer, I cut and paste the auction info.
As a seller, I offer to send an invoice. If the user uses paypal, then all I need from them is their address and payment.

Phobia, have you tried entering your current address, selecting it as primary, then deleting your old address?

Yes I have...but it kept popping up for the longest time. I admit though, I don't use the thing as often as I used too.

I've also changed the info to the current info on ebay...and it still flops things around.

There are a couple people I know that caution people to not send payment until they are sent an invoice, otherwise the money will be considered a kindly donation. XD

Or something along those lines.

Ebay and etsy will still pull up old addresses I have already deleted from my PP. I assume it is a glitch and double check before finalizing payment when utilizing their checkout systems.
PP reps are very responsive when you call, as opposed to emailing, so if you still have trouble, give 'em a call.
