I was reading somewhere-- I think facebook, that there are animal rescues looking for blankets. Now I cannot remember which rescue needed them.
Needless to say, I probably have more than 50 animal rescues on my facebook 'likes' list. (I checked the first 10 that came to mind.)
I have 3 blankets that are clean and usable, but probably not aesthetically pleasing to people to donate if someone can send me a URL link/email address to a group I can contact. (Two have pilling of the fabric and the 3rd has a worn spot that looks like it will become a hole. That's why I thought people wouldn't want them, while if my cat is any indication, animals like snuggling in most any blankets. :p)

oh man! i wish i knew which ones it was too! i have a whole closet of older blankets that would be so snuggly for the little animals! but ya know, most ALL animal shelters are in need of donations right now, and for food too! the economy has hit all of them pretty hard too, i'm sure! thanks for the sweet idea..i'm gonna call the ones closer to me, and see if they're in need of some! <3!

will do! i'm gonna call the pell city one tomorrow, when they open..they are in the worst shape right now..they couldn't even have the dog day thing this year, because funds were so low, and they didn't even have any donations! so sad! i'll let ya know what they need, if it's blankets, food, kitty litter or what i'm pretty well stocked up on all of the above, thanks to this coupon habit i've developed lately, so i'll probably take a load to 'em either way.
