Hi, Ya'll!

I'm looking for vests, the old fashioned kind (long or waist length) pin-striped, or plain, even plaid (love me some plaid!) with pockets.

I have recently begun carrying a pocket watch. Every watch I have ever owned has stopped.

The batteries die, which some woman told my mother...she's just as bad, she puts one on and within a day, it has completely died...is a sign of strong psychic power.

Makes sense, the hereditary Witch thing and all, but long story short, I'm done with buying watches only to have them die.

I need vests with pockets (hubs just bought me a gorgeous, antique, turn of the 20th century pocket watch) and I need some place to tuck in the watch to protect it, so if anyone has some, (men's size medium to large, please) please let me know.

I'll be happy to buy outright for a fair price or even trade, if I have anything you want.

The watch thing, it's an excess of static electricity, fairly common. People with this issue just buy watches that don't need batteries...like a stem-wind (pocket) watch.

I have a couple of women's vests. Would you be interested in those if I can locate them?

Exactly.,..which is why I noted that I now own a pocket watch.

Hence, I need vests with pockets in order to carry the watch I have.

It's an antique and expensive and I don't want it to get ruined.

I was doing the "pin" thing for a while, but the watch still banged around.

My watch already has a chain. It came with one, as any pocket watch that is of any worth, does.

But you still have to have a place to hook the chain in to, which is why vests need pockets.

Not sure if you are still looking for a vest. I finally found this one.



Solid black, no pockets (sorry!), button up vest by Ilyza New York. Size and materials tag has faded so I cannot read it. (The garment has not faded, just the care tag.) I would estimate this as a women's large. Measurements, when buttoned closed: 36" armpit to armpit, 22" from shoulder to the bottom of the pointed hems.
