I'm just going to say that 174 lbs. doesn't sound all that large? I guess it has alot to do with someones frame & bone weight. I weigh 184...lol. You'd think I was a monster, but I am currently a size 12 with a 38 C cup & still somewhat curvy I'm told. I do however have this thigh thing I could live without, but I'm a healthy gal & not overweight, I just refuse to be a walking toothpick. The smallest I've ever been was a size 3 after my 1st divorce, my nerves did it to me ..took me down from a 10-3 in 2 weeks. Sometimes I wish I could go back down that far, but ack, I'm ok...at least I know I can't be blown over in the wind..lol. OK, I know..I went off topic..so I now go away.

As stated earlier, I weighed over 300 once, so even if I weighed 225, I'd be proud of myself, and rightfully so. 10 pounds can be damned hard to lose, let alone over 100. Severina has met me in person, as has Heretic13, and I'm pretty sure that they'll vouch that I am short, curvy, and have a ghetto ass of doom. Me...I'm all hips, boobs and butt. I'm short, which doesn't help matters, and sadly, I am a stocky German instead of a willowy, tall graceful one. Am I petite? Nope, absolutely not, but nor am I a lumbering behemoth than is incapable of moving of her own volition due to morbid obesity, as is being claimed. I'm active, I'm healthy, and I've gotten well past the point where I let my size or shape get me too down, unless I am blatantly treated rudely by shallow, insipid people.

I know what you mean by ghetto butt! I have one that would make J-Lo jealous..lol. I never reached 300, my weight just seems to go up & down by 15-20 lbs. meaning if I lose 10, I'll gain 20. After my hysterectomy, I have gained the extra & it just stays there. i don't have real good metabolism..where as some can munch all day & not gain a thing, I can hardly eat & never lose anything. I am also a German, so yes, stockiness is common..we are well built chickies. I don't have a problem with my weight at all except for when i see something cute on auction & I just know it only fits bones! Most cute clothes aren't available for real women & that just sux. I just don't see why society thinks bones are sexy?? ewwwww. Like with movie stars..I always thought kate Winslet was such a pretty gal, who is bigger & proud to be, against like that gal from Pirates of the Carribean (sp.?)..ack! Toooo skinny! lol

Yeah, I'm currently a size 12 at 5'7, and would like to lose a little, to get down to an 8-10. Mostly because I plan to start modeling next year.

There are people that don't look like they are a size 20...and yet they are.
Some people look smaller or bigger than what some people think they are.
